What is Pilates Deconstructed®?
I created Pilates Deconstructed® to explore multiple dimensions of movement in a joyful and integrated atmosphere that invigorates both mind and body.
Blending Pilates, preparatory exercise, and sensory feedback methods, Pilates Deconstructed® helps you stay injury-free while improving strength, mobility, coordination, and overall well-being.
Pilates Deconstructed® is a dynamic expansion on the traditional methods of Pilates.
With it, I bring my knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, functional movement, and down-regulation of the nervous system to the mat and apparatus. Just as importantly, I do all that while making sure you have fun!
PilatesDeconstructed® offers benefits to practitioners at all levels, whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
If you’re new to Pilates, you’ll be inspired by a thorough and varied movement experience. If you’re more advanced, you’ll be introduced to creative ways of approaching your Pilates practice. My methods will free you from the “autopilot box” that some traditional practices create so that you can prevent repetitive stress injuries.

You can experience PilatesDeconstructed® in a private session, group class, or workshop format. For instructors, I also offer PMA® continuing education credits.
Pilates Deconstructed® Workshops provide tools for movement experts to learn how to refine and improve their skills. Being a physical therapist and Feldenkrais-Pilates teacher, I am always looking for a good instructor who helps us embody the essence of somatic learning. Trina never fails me.
